Music and sketch comedy are similar in that both music and sketch comedy start with what’s going on or exposition and ONLY after they establish that do they get more complex or heighten the craziness of the situation from there. This is a fun example of a song increasing in complexity and visuals.
Just like the music heightens in intensity, speed and elements a good comedic sketch will heighten in stakes, absurdity, or difficulty for its protagonist. There’s also the intensity of the jokes or beats of the game that can heighten as well.
